Treadstone is excited to release two new intercooler cores; the CV18126 and CR1WR. Both cores have vertical flow but are complete opposites in the way in which they are designed. The CR1WR is long and slender for smaller applications ( 20" x 4" x 8") and efficient up to 920HP/1380CFM. On the other hand the CV18126 is a much more robust core (18" x 6" x 12") that's is able to handle 1250HP/1850CFM for those of you with more horses.

Introducing, the best bang for your buck, front mounted intercooler set up for the Mazdaspeed3. Features include lightweight aluminum crash bar integrated for mounting our TR8 intercooler. 2.5" Mandrel bent aluminum piping, powder coated wrinkle black, includes an optional meth bung port right before the throttle body Standard OEM diverter valve mounting flange.
The factory top mounted intercooler is constantly being heat soaked and overworked due to its location right above the hot engine. Temperature drops of up to 30psi, and reduced pressure drop from the high efficient bar and plate TR8 core. BMW relocated the diverter valve to the turbo housing during their newer 2011+ N55 motors but they failed to upgrade the chargepipe to handle any extra pressure which makes N55 chargepipe failures not uncommon. We have manufactured our redesigned N55 chargepipe to feature all 6061 aluminum construction, black wrinkle finish, CNC machined flange and an OEM style mounting hardware.
