Treadstone Performance Engineering SRT-4 Turbo Kit Rev2. Revised and upgraded kit utilizing a V band downpipe connection and very strong schedule 10 weld el downpipe construction! Also upgraded was the wastegate to the very popular V band MVS by Tial. This turbo upgrade kit for the SRT-4 utilizes the advanced series of Turbonetics and Precision turbochargers.
This kit will include our Treadstone cast turbo manifold which carries a lifetime warranty against cracking. The kit is now priced without a turbocharger, this way, you can purchase the turbo kit, and select any turbocharger with the kit. We can adapt any Turbonetics or Precision turbo to this kit, from the Billet wheel CEA turbos that Precision offers, to the popular GTK turbos by Turbonetics.

The O2 housing features a large 3" outlet throughout for reduced turbo back pressure. The dump tube is a 1.5" pipe which is dumps to atmosphere, this increases wastegate efficiency as well as turbo efficiency by reducing turbine back pressure in the O2 housing.

Nissan SR20 Investment Cast Stainless Steel Head Flange. We designed this flange to streamline exhaust gases from a oval port to circular port and match the exact size of our 1.5" nominal weld els. Also we created cut outs on the back side of the flange, not only does this reduce the weight of the flange, but it aids in sealing the flange to the head with approx 35% more sealing pressure.
Pressure = Force/area, so if we reduce the area, given the same clamping bolt force, the sealing pressure increased! Never will you have an pesky exhaust leak again. The top of the flange also features a rib that runs through the middle of the flange, this high point in the flange resists warping when welding and maintains a high level if structural rigidity.

If your aftermarket A/F gauge reads 12.6, this means that for every 1 part fuel entering your internal combustion engine there are 12.6 parts of air also entering your engine.
How They Work?
The mechanism in most sensors involves a chemical reaction that generates a voltage. The engine's computer looks at the voltage to determine if the mixture is rich or lean, and adjusts the amount of fuel entering the engine accordingly.
Their Importance!
As illustrated below AFR play an important part in both economy and performance not only to the after market but to the OEM builders and engineers as well.
If you note the picture above shows that maximum power is achieved with a AFR of 12.6:1, this AFR on a turbocharged engine this may lead to per-ignition (knocking/detonation) and server engine damage. Depending on your setup and tune a AFR of 11.5:1 to 12.0: 1 is the maximum recommended AFR a turbocharged engine should see, and should only be achieved with proper tuning methods.
Conclusion
Whether tuning for economy or for performance keeping a keen eye on AFRs should always be on the top of the priority list. To make sure there is a keen eye on AFRs Treadstone Performance Engineering recommends the use of an experienced and qualified tuner and the use of an after-market AFR gauge.
