QR-SERIES RECIRCULATING BLOW-OFF VALVE
The recirculating version of the legendary TiALSport Q BOV bolts to any standard TiAL flange without welding. The discharge tube provides for an efficient connection to the air inlet system.
An included weld mounting flange (available in aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel) cut for 2-1/2'' pipe and CNC machined aluminum V-band mounting clamp with stainless steel hardware create a durable corrosion-free appearance.
A banjo-type aluminum air fitting and bolt with 1/4" hose barb allow quick actuator response.
Springs available to accommodate various vacuum levels and supercharged applications.

Technical Specifications:
- -For use on turbo-charged and super-charged applications (Paxton, Vortec, etc.) The body and all internal components are CNC machined from aluminum alloy. It features a large 1.98'' (50.5mm) valve.
- -The V-Band design aluminum mounting clamp gives a very clean and unique appearance. The clamp uses Stainless Steel hardware for a long lasting, corrosion-free appearance.
- -The valve seal utilizes a high temperature resistant o-ring that is clamped in place to prevent the possibility of sticking to the seat and pulling out. The valve stem and guide are hard anodized for wear resistance.
- -Designed for MAF-equipped applications or those with a need to recirculate the discharge.
- The Blow Off Valve also comes with a machined aluminum banjo-type air fitting and bolt, with over sized 10mm hose barb for quick actuator response. The actuator has a high temp silicone reinforced diaphragm for long life.
- -An weld mounting flange is furnished with each unit

The Smart Port system involves a new piston manufacturing process utilizing specialized alloys and coatings and a revolutionary new vent-to-atmosphere trumpet design. These unique designs allow for a swift response while providing enhanced sealing. The result is quicker spool-up and better performance on modern drive-by-wire vehicles.
Smart Piston Design
The new Smart Port piston is made from aerospace alloy, reducing the piston’s weight and improving the valve’s response. A new military-spec coating technique is applied to the surface of the piston. This low-friction material also helps make the BOV more responsive than any previous Type 5 BOV. It has excellent wear-resistant characteristics – extending the working life of the BOV.
Smart Trumpet Design
Turbosmart’s new Smart Port trumpet allows a softer spring in the body of the BOV to aid in valve response to the plumb back port while retaining the ability to vent to the atmosphere.
