Treadstone Performance Engineering Intercoolers are crafted from superb 6061 T6 Aircraft Grade Aluminum. They are made from a bar and plate construction and are pressured checked to 150 psi--forging a world renown product that stands by its' performance and matchless quality. Our end-tanks are TIG welded in-house, by hand; making each product unique and guaranteeing the quality assurance of each of our products. Our end-tanks are CAD engineered to distribute even airflow with low-turbulence and low-pressure-drop. We are also providing 6" core for our R-Rate Intercooler line. Same size as the C12186 featured above, only more bar and plate for higher HP and CFM ratings. Treadstone Performance Engineering Rated-R Cores are used on side mount twin turbo applications where we can sacrifice ambient external airflow because there isn't a radiator behind each core that requires airflow. By eliminating the radiators need for airflow, we are able to shrink the ambient fin height, and add this to internal flow. These cores will also be found on full race intercooler set ups on large front mount intercoolers.
