MAF MASS AIR FLOW ADAPTER PIPE, NISSAN, FORD AND GM, HITACHI STYLE
Very common Hitachi Slot Style MAF Mass Air Flow Adapter Pipe for Nissan, FORD and GM vehicles. Fits many applications; Nissan GT-R, Spec V SER, FSI, Golf, Jetta, Audi, GTi, and various Ford and GM vehicles.
Very common Hitachi Slot Style MAF Mass Air Flow Adapter Pipe for Nissan, FORD and GM vehicles. Fits many applications; Nissan GT-R, Spec V SER, FSI, Golf, Jetta, Audi, GTi, and various Ford and GM vehicles. CNC machined from 6061 Aluminum, and precision tig welded to a 3" or 4" big MAF pipe. 2 variations available, low and tall height. With the tall height adapter, you will actually lower the MAF voltage reading because there is less air flow towards the top and bottom of the pipe due to surface friction. This will allow you to increase the voltage reading spread 0-5 volts, and be able to tune for more horse power and air flow. So, the 4" adapter with tall sensor will be the highest HP Maf adapter for this application.
Larger MAF tubes:
-Can solve max out sensor readings for
higher voltage resolution. -Allows use of a atmospheric blow off valve
in blow through applications -Allows better intake temperature readings
-Allows use of larger turbo intake pipes for faster turbo spool up Honey comb air flow straighteners sold separately: 3/16" Aluminum honeycomb material stabilizes maf sensor outputs, and cleans up erratic MAF readings. This can increase HP throughout the RPM range, and help any car idle a lot better! 3.5" and 4" MAF housing definitely need this upgrade.
